Position Summary:Support the development and recommendations of cost estimates for projects to be included in multi-year capital plan.Build capital plan annually and adjust budget estimates based on market conditions, site assessments and other factors that could impact costs for Infrastructure upgrades, tenant improvements, & renovation projectsRecommend priority sites based on site assessments, asset history, work order history, life-safety concerns, tenant feedback, etc.Review, develop, track, and update detailed cost estimates during project developmentInteract and collaborate with various internal and external clients, stakeholders, internal service providers, project managers, and vendors during capital plan developmentCompare budget costs to benchmark pricing information, analyze quantities, and scope itemsSupport in developing and maintaining project historical cost benchmark for various project typesPerformance and ProcessesCollaboration with various stakeholders - Project Managers, Facility Management, engineers, architects, etcConduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and identify potential opportunities that could affect project costResearch and source pricing information from vendors and suppliers (material costs)Continuously compare and verify actual costs against approved budgets and detailed cost estimates then track and report any deviations, variances, or risksPrepare detailed cost estimates and proposals that include labor, materials, equipment, permit, etc.
